Div Com Jammu along with IGP Jammu, DIG DKR range, DC Ramban, SSP Ramban and other officers of Police and CAPF reviewed the security arrangements of upcoming SANJY-19 from Jawahar Tunnel upto Nashri Tunnel.
During their visit IGP Jammu checked the security arrangements made at Langers, Lodgement centers, reception centres, nakas, Laterals, etc and on spot directions were issued to all officer/officials deployed at the said points including manpower deployed enroute & directed them that in veiw of the present security scenario of the state there is every apprehension of any subversive act by the ANEs to disrupt the yatra.
IGP Jammu briefed the deployed nafri to keep an eagle eye over the activities of suspects in order to foil any nefarious designs of ANEs and for the smooth conduct of SANJY-19. The IGP emphasised that the directions issued must be implemented on ground in letter & spirit.
